Cookies & Storage
Like most websites, X3JS keeps a few small pieces of information in your browser so the site, the editor and your games work. This page lists them, says why each one is there and how long it stays, and shows you how to clear them.

What We Keep and Why
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep. Browser storage (local storage, session storage and the browser cache) does the same job for larger pieces, such as editor settings or files that make a project open faster. Most of what X3JS keeps never leaves your device.
X3JS does not use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking cookies, and does not follow you across other websites. Everything below is either needed for the Service to work, or remembers a choice you made yourself.
Strictly Necessary
These make X3JS work. Without them you could not stay signed in, the site could not protect itself, and the editor would be slower.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in cookies | Keep you signed in on the website, the editor and the AI panel. | Up to 1 year; removed when you sign out |
| Security check against bots | Protects the site, sign-in, sign-up and password-protected game deliveries from automated abuse (see Third Parties). | From 30 minutes up to 6 months, set by the provider |
| Writing in progress | A post or reply you are writing, so it is not lost if the page reloads. | Until you post it; replies until you close the tab |
| AI panel work in progress | The conversation and plan you are working on in the AI panel, so they survive a page change. | Until you clear them; some only until you close the tab |
| Editor speed data | Remembers how a model is set up, how fast your device is and which quality level it can run, so projects open faster and play smoothly. | Until you clear it |
| Saved animation data | Prepared character animations kept in your browser's cache, so a project opens faster the next time. | Until you clear it, or your browser frees the space |
| Files cache | Models, textures, kits and page files your browser keeps under its normal cache rules, so they are not downloaded again. | Set by your browser |
| A copy of your project on this device | Only when you choose to save a project on this device. | Until you remove it |
| Crash notes | A few lines about the editor's last moments, kept only on your device to help find the cause if it stops. They are never sent to us automatically. | Replaced each session; until you clear them |
| This notice | Remembers that you closed the cookies and storage notice. | Until you clear it |
Preferences
These remember choices you make. They are only set when you make the choice.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Language | Shows the site in the language you picked (a cookie, so pages arrive in that language). | 1 year |
| Home tab | Opens the home page on the tab you used last. | Until you clear it |
| Editor settings and layout | Your editor settings, panel sizes and save choice. | Until you clear it |
| AI panel settings | The panel's width and the AI model you picked. | Until you clear it |
| Game preview frame | The phone frame and orientation you picked to preview a game. | Until you clear it |
Third Parties
A few trusted providers set their own cookies when you use the parts of X3JS they run. Their own privacy policies apply; see also our list of sub-processors.
- Cloudflare — delivers the site and protects it from attacks and automated traffic. It may set short-lived security cookies on any visit.
- Google reCAPTCHA — a security check against bots, loaded only when you sign in, sign up or open a password-protected game delivery. Google may set or read its own cookies for this check.
We do not use any analytics, advertising or social-media tracking services.
How to Clear or Block It
- Sign out to remove the sign-in cookies.
- Clear site data in your browser's settings (usually under Privacy, "Cookies and site data") for x3js.com to remove everything listed here at once.
- A private or incognito window keeps nothing after you close it.
You can also block cookies or storage in your browser. If you do, sign-in may fail or ask you to sign in on every visit, the security check may not pass, the editor will be slower because it has to rebuild what it had saved, and writing in progress may be lost. Clearing site data does not delete your projects or anything saved to your account.
Changes and Contact
When we add a new kind of storage we update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Questions: contact@miramtech.com. For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
